Code Inspection and Enforcement
The Code Inspector monitors conditions throughout the Town and investigates complaints. Inspections may occur at any time; 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and the inspector is authorized to inspect any property in Ravenel. The Code Inspector may notice a possible ordinance or zoning violation, a building issue, or there may be a problem with your Business License.
Property owners are notified in several ways if there are any concerns. In-person contact is always our first attempt, but you may receive a door hanger, phone call, letter, or sign posted on your property.
The goal of the Code Enforcement Department is to obtain compliance with Ravenel codes and ordinances and to help residents and property owners understand what they need to do to maintain their property.
