Chief Larry Garvin Sr. Retires

Community gathered in fire station #1

Members from area public service agencies, local officials, and residents gathered on Friday, March 31, 2023 at St. Paul's Fire Department Station #1 for the retirement ceremony of Chief Larry Garvin Sr. from the department.  Chief Garvin was presented with a golden ax for his more than 40 (some say 50) years of service to the community.  Assistant Chief Truss Johnson is the Department's new Chief.
