Old E.B. Ellington / Miley Hill School Improvements

Improvements are being designed for the site of the old E.B. Ellington elementary school at 5600 Ellington School Road.  This site is a 10-acre site owned by the Town.  Improvements being considered include a monument or memorial area regarding the importance of the school.  To fully use the site, the main section of the school may have to be demolished.  Other improvements may include an indoor gymnasium and several athletic fields connected by a trail.  This may become the site of a future Town Hall or recreation / youth / senior center.
